Lisbon High class of 1942 reminisces during 69th reunion

The Lisbon High School classmates of 1942 recently held their 69th class reunion. There were 11 classmates, six spouses, four daughters, one granddaughter, and one friend in attendance. As is customary, Ed Frank rang the class bell, and Jane Beaver-Freeland called the class to order. Table decorations were arranged by Jane's daughter, Joan Buckley. Before lunch, a class history was given including several past reunions. A moment of silence was held for the 19 deceased classmates and deceased spouses. After a delicious lunch at Morgan's American grill in New Market, each attendee gave an update of their life for the past year. Jane's granddaughter, Kate Bissinger sang "Night and Day." Jane concluded the reunion with a poetry reading of "the Journey Home." Ed rang the bell to dismiss the class.
