March 30 — Pretty in Pink Champagne Ladies Luncheon and Fashion Show: Turf Valley Resort, 1500 Turf Valley Road, Ellicott City, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
April 1-30 — Pink-Plate Specials at 13 restaurants, cupcakes for sale: Aida Bistro and Wine Bar; Bistro Blanc; Ellicott Mills Brewing Co.; Kelsey's; Rams Head Tavern; Tersiguel's; The Elkridge Furnace Inn; The Iron Bridge Wine Co.; The Melting Pot; Victoria Gastro Pub; and Waterside Restaurant. Official cupcakes for sale at Kupcakes and Co., 6010 Meadowridge Center Drive, Elkridge.
April 5 -30 — "A Walk in My Shoes," invitational theme exhibition: Columbia Art Center Galleries, 6100 Foreland Garth, Columbia.
April 7— Think Spring Plant Sale: Purchase potted bulbs at the Howard County Welcome Center, 8267 Main Street, 11 a.m.
April 10 — Unveiling of Pink Rabbit, the first sculpture of Artsites 2012: And, a special preview by the Howard County Arts Council of the 11 other year-long art installations across the county, Elkridge branch of the Howard County Library, 6540 Washington Boulevard, Elkridge; 10:30 a.m.
April 14 — Signs of Spring Wonder Walk: Howard County Conservancy, 10520 Old Frederick Road, Woodstock; 10 a.m.
April 14-15 — An Enchanted Cherrybration Weekend, Clark's Elioak Farm, 10500 Clarksville Pike, Ellicott City: All children in a family will get a free hay ride if at least one person is dressed as a pink princess. Children may also dress up in princess gowns at the farm for a photo opportunity with "Princess Cherrybella." A Truly Pink Treasure Hunt will be held both days in the Enchanted Forest Pine Tree Maze.
April 19 — "Ginger," a pink gingerbread Enchanted Forest figure, arrives: Howard County Welcome Center, 8267 Main Street, 5 p.m., followed by Girls' Night Out in Ellicott City; 5 - 7 p.m.
April 20 — 4th Annual Pink Greens Golf Classic: Turf Valley Resort, 1500 Turf Valley Road, Ellicott City, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
April 21 — Ellicott City Hills of Milltown 5K Challenge: 8 a.m. start at Parking Lot C on Maryland Avenue, 10 a.m. awards at Welcome Center.
April 27 — 6th Annual Lanterns of Hope Luminary Parade: Patapsco Female Institute Historic Park, 3655 Church Road, family playtime and luminary parade, 6:30 p.m.
April 28 — Historic Ellicott City's Cherrybration Spring Celebration: Family activities, Pink Panes shop windows, music, entertainment; various locations, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
April 29 — Terrapin Adventures' Cherrybration Adventure: Savage Mill, 3rd anniversary celebration featuring free slices of cherry pie for participants.
