Fresh off a tournament win in Edgewood last weekend, the Aberdeen wrestling team took on Edgewood in dual meet action Wednesday and won. The Eagles beat the visiting Rams, 60-15.

The Eagles were aided by four Edgewood forfeits, accounting for 24 points. The Eagles were also aided by falls, winning the rest of the 10 wins by pin.

Collecting the pins were Marcos Colon-Pappaterra in 28 seconds at 106 pounds; Dylan Morris in 1:19 at 113; Billy Morris in 2:55 at 145; Tyler Fletcher in 59 seconds at 182; C.J. Allen in 17 seconds at 195; and Adric Turner in 1:12 at 220.

Two of Edgewood's wins were also by pin. Noel Spencer pinned in 1:13 at 120 and Shawn Kluchinsky pinned in 2:49 at 170. Edgewood's other win came at 160 with Marcus Gash earning a 2-0 decision.

Aberdeen's wins by forfeit were credited to Travis Hubler, 126; Daniel Velez, 132; Chris Banko, 138; and Dylan Lucas, 152.

Both teams forfeited the 285 weight class.

Mustangs topple Warriors

Havre de Grace hosted C. Milton Wright as well Wednesday and the Mustangs won, 48-27. The meet had seven forfeits, with Havre de Grace not providing a wrestler in four of the non-contested bouts. Neither team had a wrestler for the 106 match.

In the contested bouts, CMW picked up four wins, all by pin. Mickey Glendon had the quickest pin for the Mustangs at 170, winning in just 25 seconds. Philip Flint was equally impressive at 160, pinning in 37 seconds. Ben Swanson also pinned in 2:48 at 152 and Doug Thier pinned in 1:38 at 182.

Havre de Grace managed three wins. Daniel Peters and Justin Wolbert were both winners by pin. Peters did so in 2:58 at 138, while Wolbert went into the third period before pinning in 4:24 at 195.

Shane Andrews was also a winner for the Warriors at 113, earning a 13-11 decision.

CMW forfeit winners were Mike Ritz, 128; Mike Zito, 132; Frankie Marzen, 220; and Alan Dorsey, 285.

Collecting forfeits for Havre de Grace were Ryley Armstrong, 120; and Josh Nuce, 145.

Huskies smash Cobras

Patterson Mill hosted Harford Tech on Wednesday and won all but two bouts in a 68-6 win.

Highlighting the win were seven pins, with the biggest coming at 220 pounds between Patterson Mill's Eric Eckstein and Tech's Mike Vega. The two are #1 (Vega) and #2 in the county at 220 and both are ranked in the state.

The match was 4-4 in the third period when Eckstein pinned Vega.

Others pinning for Patterson Mill were Connor Allmon, 106; Paul Difonzo, 113; Tom Trzeciak, 138; Jason Noss, 145; David Mitchell, 160; and Mark Reuter, 285.

Chase Tallon earned a 2-0 decision at 120 and Jake Nikkila won by technical fall at 132. Mark Mossa, 126, Danny Nyitrai, 170; and Vince Defazio, 195, were winners by forfeit.

Tech's wins came at 152, Skyler Leach by decision, and at 182, Nathan Cook, also by decision.

Cougars drop Tigers

Fallston hosted Rising Sun on Wednesday and rolled to a 50-23 win, behind nine wins.

Colin McDonald, 106, and Joe Medicus, 120, picked up the Cougars lightweight wins. McDonald won by pin in 2:40 at 106 and Medicus won by pin in 4:28 at 120.

Garrett Coburn added a 16-0 tech fall at 145 and CJ Austin added a pin in 1:26 at 152. Gordon Reilley added a 7-6 decision at 160 and the Cougars then got pins from Austin Rutkowski, 182; Ridge Myers, 195; and Alex Helm, 285, to close out the match.

Hawks claw Elks

North Harford went on the road Wednesday and posted a 40-29 win at Elkton.

The dual meet had seven forfeits, including two double forfeits at 120 and 126. The other forfeits were split 2-2.

In the wrestled bouts, Trevor Smith won a 14-1 major decision at 132 and Logan Smith pinned in 3:15 at 160. Angelo Koulatsos pinned at 170 in 52 seconds and Mike Teller added a pin at 182 in 1:59 and Dustin Beall closed out the Hawk wins at 220, pinning in 1:14.
