Randy Foster of North Harford came through with a championship effort in the boys 100-yard backstroke, earning the Hawks their final individual victory of the day.

Harford Tech's Justin Carestia grabbed the Cobras their lone victory of the meet, topping the field in the boys 100-yard breaststroke.

The North Harford team of Foster, Lackey, Robby Beichler and Luke Johnson took first in the boys 400-yard freestyle relay.

Fallston's squad of Austin Appel, A.J. Lagan, J.D. Appel and Sam Burgess brought home a first-place finish in the boys 200-yard freestyle relay.

Bel Air takes two podium finishes at 3A/4A North

Competing at the Prince George's Sports and Learning Complex in the 3A/4A North regional championships on Saturday, the Bel Air squad raced to a pair of podium finishes.

Earning the Bobcats their lone victory of the day was Mike Koscinski, who took first in the boys 50-yard freestyle with a winning time of 22.96 seconds. Koscinski also finished fifth in the boys 100-yard freestyle.

In the girls 200-yard freestyle relay, the Bobcat team of Macey Nitchie, Jennifer Koscinski, Lauren St. Pierre and Tabitha Cousler took third place.

Nitchie had the highest finish of the Bel Air girls squad, earning fourth place in the girls 50-yard freestyle.

The Bel Air boys squad finished the nine-team meet in sixth place with 182 points, while the Bobcat girls finished in fifth place with 210 points.
