Lindsey Holthaus of Joppa placed third among the women in the Abebe Bikila Peace Marathon in Washington, D.C., Saturday. She ran 4:26:45.
Marge Rosasco led the 60-69 age group in the Executive Stampede in Hunt Valley Sunday. She clocked 23:51, placing 50th among 330 overall. Urbane Maust of Bel Air was fourth in 50-59 in 21:58 as a member of the winning team from AAI Corp.
Melissa Dethlefsen of Bel Air placed ninth among 90 women in the 35-39 age group in the Dewey Beach Triathlon Saturday. She completed a half mile swim, 15-mile bike and 3.5-mile run in 1:46:45 to place 39th overall among 256 women. George Stewart of Bel Air led the 70-74 age group in 2:00:24.
Kirk Ingold and Donna Lewis were winners in the Sickle Cell Anemia 5K in Havre de Grace Sunday. Ingold ran 20:30 and Lewis 25:48.
