Outdoors: Deer Creek closing for 2,650 more trout; let the fishing begin

I was asked why it is illegal to wear felt sole waders or boots when stream fishing. This ruling went into effect last year. There have been some breakouts of whirling illness that causes trout and other fish to swim in small circles. This finally kills the fish.
