The undefeated Bel Air golf team had its toughest match of the season so far on Wednesday, as the Bobcats beat C. Milton Wright by six strokes Wednesday, 221-226, at the Maryland Golf and Country Club.

Patterson Mill took third place at the three-way matchup, carding a 252.

Prior to Wednesday's loss, C. Milton Wright was unbeaten.

Bel Air's low scorer was Matt Hottman, who carded a 42. Sam Foss came in with a 43, while fellow Bobcat Nick Loiodice and Tyler Newton each scored a 45. Nick Rynes was close behind with a nine-hole score of 46.

CMW's Ricky Sheeler shot a 43, while Josh Cobo came in with a 44. Ian Moore and Quentin Cummings both carded a 45, while the Mustangs' Jake Labe had a score of 50.

The competition's low scorer was Patterson Mill's Eric Langrehr, who was five strokes ahead of the nearest competitor with a nine-hole score of 37. Jacob Beher came in with a 48, while teammate Matt Dietrich shot a 55. Connor McCloud and C.J. Belsito both posted a 56 for Patterson Mill.

Tech over Elkton, Edgewood

Playing at Ruggles Golf Course at Aberdeen Proving Ground in a Tuesday match, the Harford Tech Cobras carded a team score of 233 to best Elkton and Edgewood.

Elkton took second with a 262, while Edgewood did not post a team score.

All of Harford Tech's golfers finished at 50 strokes or lower, with Noah Davis coming in with a 44 to lead the winning side. Andrew Small carded a 45, while Morgan Artman and Owne Rogers both posted scores of 47. Mason Paradiso scored a 50 in the victory.

Edgewood's Connor Johnson scored a 43.

Aberdeen, Fallston topped by Rising Sun

Aberdeen and Fallston were knocked off at Chesapeake Golf Club in Cecil County Tuesday afternoon by Rising Sun.

Rising Sun won the match with a 201, while Fallston grabbed second with a 230. Aberdeen finished third with a 263.

Leading Fallston was Tommy St. Clair, who carded a 44.

Aberdeen's Bryan Ensor was his team's low scorer, carding a nine-hole score of 44.
