Playing in an all-Harford County matchup on Thursday at the Winter's Run Golf Club, the Bel Air Bobcats topped the North Harford and Fallston teams, carding a combined team score of 192. North Harford came in with a score of 228, while Fallston finished at 232 strokes.
The Bobcats were led by the trio of Matt Hottman, Nick Loiodice and Bill Dearth, who each registered an individual score of 37.
Nick Rynes carded a 40 for Bel Air, while Cody Smith wrapped up nine holes in 41 strokes.
North Harford's Nick Kress and Morgan Wirtz led the Hawks with identical scores of 42.
Fallston's Conner Van Scyoc posted a nine-hole score of 42 to pace the Cougars.
Tech ties North East
The Harford Tech Cobras finished tied for second on Thursday during a three-way match at Chesapeake Golf Club in Cecil County, matching the North East team with a combined score of 236, while Rising Sun won the contest with a 220.
Carding the lowest individual score of the entire match was Harford Tech's Noah Davis, who came in at 34 strokes, just one over the course's nine-hole par of 33.
Owen Rogers posted a 48 for the Cobras, while Mason Paradiso and Morgan Artman both had scores of 50. Harford Tech's Connor Milanicz had a 52.
Eagles take second
The Aberdeen squad grabbed a second-place finish during its three-way match at Ruggles Golf Course on Thursday, finishing with a 244, while Bo Manor won the event with a team mark of 224. Elkton took third with a 266.
Aberdeen's top scorer was Bryan Ensor, who came in with a 41. Robbi Feathers carded a 43, while fellow Eagle Owen Smith had a 46. Aberdeen's Emily Byers had a 56, and teammate Dave Correll scored a 58.Copyright © 2015, The Baltimore Sun
