Aberdeen over Elizabeth Seton in Friday girls hoops matchup

The Aberdeen Eagles stayed unbeaten in girls basketball, going on the road and beating Elizabeth Seton, 65-45, Friday to run their record to 5-0.

Aberdeen poured in 25 points during the first quarter and led at halftime, 34-24. After three quarters, the Eagles held a 49-34 advantage.

Freshman Stephanie Jones led Aberdeen in scoring with 18 points and had eight rebounds. Her sister, Brionna Jones, a senior, scored 17 points and had 13 rebounds. Endia Jones scored 12 points and Kierra Palmer had eight points and eight assists.
