The Bel Air field hockey squad (4-0) held on to top host Centennial on Monday afternoon, when the Bobcats' Judy Yurkofsky knocked away a shot in overtime to deliver her team a 5-4 victory.
The game-winning, sudden-death goal came off an assist by Anna Farley.
Yurkofsky finished the game with two goals and two assists.
Farley, Meghan Scary and Carolyn Todd all had one goal.
Tori Gryglewski posted two assists in the victory.
Harford Christian wins
The Harford Christian girls did not allow a goal in their Monday matchup with Aberdeen (0-6), beating the visiting squad, 6-0.
The hosts led, 2-0, at halftime.
Lily Loomis found the Aberdeen net three times to lead the winning side in goals, while Stephanie Tittel had one goal and two assists. Erika Cullum and Taylor Dawson both had one goal in the win, while Annie Henderson dished out a pair of assists.
The Fallston Cougars (3-2-1 overall, 0-0-1 Chesapeake) were blanked, 3-0, by visiting Catonsville on Monday.
Fallston goalies Kayla Solomon and Caitlin Phillips had six and two saves, respectively.
John Carroll over Joppa
The John Carroll Patriots made short work of visiting Joppatowne (3-3) on Monday, defeating the Mariners, 10-0.
Lindsay Kraus and Grace Richards led the Patriot offense, with each notching three goals.
Beth Boniface and Ellie Lang both had one goal and one assist for John Carroll, while Catie Sullivan and Matilda Butler both scored once.
Clair Grunewald paced John Carroll in assists with two, while Morgan Taylor and Carly Lyon both had one assist.
CMW over Dulaney
C. Milton Wright (5-0 overall, 1-0 Chesapeake) scored just one time in a Friday field hockey matchup with visiting Dulaney, but the Mustangs made that tally count and held the Lions scoreless to earn a 1-0 victory.
The game was scoreless through the first half.
Midway through the second half, CMW's Sabrina Rhodes tucked away a shot after taking a feed from teammate Eliese Thrush, giving the Mustangs their winning margin.
In the shutout, CMW goalie Sydney Rhodes posted 10 saves.
North Harford wins whitewash
North Harford (2-0) won on the road Friday, beating the Perry Hall squad, 4-0.
The Hawks were led by Sophie Crowther, who had a pair of goals. Rachel Baca and Sarah Jackson both had one goal and one assist.
North Harford goalie Jess Hart had four saves, while fellow keeper Juliane Caughron had three.
Patterson Mill clubs Rising Sun
The Patterson Mill Huskies (2-2 overall, 0-1 Chesapeake) had no shortage of offensive firepower on Friday, with the host-team Huskies knocking away double-digit goals in a 12-0 victory over Rising Sun.
Linnea Gonzelaz had a career-best showing, scoring seven times in the victory and dishing out two assists.
Mariel Castronova, Taylor Wilhelm, Elle Ratzesburger, Emma McIntyre and Jordan Salmon each scored one time. Castronova, Wilhelm and Hannali Patidar all handed out one assist.
Husky goalie Maddie Hedrick had three saves.
Joppatowne over Havre de Grace
The Joppatowne Mariners (1-0 Susquehanna) recorded a 4-0 home victory over Havre de Grace (0-5 overall, 0-1 Susquehanna) Friday.
Rodneisha Scott led the Mariners' offense, scoring a pair of goals. Ashley Martinez had one goal and one assist, while teammate Deja Turner scored one goal.
Havre de Grace goalies Kateri Peters and Taylor Smith had seven and four saves, respectively.
Harford Christian over Harford Tech
The Harford Christian Eagles defeated visiting Harford Tech (3-3 overall 1-1 Susquehanna)), 2-0, in a Friday contest.
Julia Smith scored with an assist from Lily Loomis in the game's 10th minute to put the Eagles up, 1-0.
Ten minutes into the second half, Loomis scored with an assist from Smith.
Becca Tolle had three saves in goal for the Eagles.
Harford Tech goalie Hannah Snyder had seven saves in the loss.
