C. Milton Wright won at home Tuesday, beating the visiting Havre de Grace boys volleyball team in three straight games.
CMW won the first game, 25-14, took the second, 25-13, then wrapped things up with a 25-12 victory in the final matchup.
The Mustangs' John Grotke had seven aces, 10 kills, one block and one dig, while Faras Amir posted four aces and one kill. Mike Moss helped the winning cause with four aces, one kill and one dig and Matt Henigan registered two aces and two kills.
Sebastian Pruitt was the Warriors' top contributor, posting five kills, four digs and one block. Josean Ponce had four kills, three digs, one block and one ace in the loss, while Randy Sorrentino had two kills, two digs and one assist. Sean Darney had one kill and led the Warriors in assists with 10, while Paul Butz posted two kills and one ace. Havre de Grace's Waseem Sidik had two digs.
Bel Air over Fallston
The Bel Air Bobcats topped the host-team Fallston Cougars Tuesday, 3-1.
The Bobcats took the first game, 25-19, but Fallston evened things up with a 25-17 win in the second matchup. Bel Air sealed the match victory with wins of 25-22 and 25-21 in the final two contests.
Tyler Norcross notched two aces and a season-best 24 kills in the victory. Jake Andrew put up nine kills and two blocks for Bel Air, while teammate James Scherba had three aces and five kills. Kyle Johnson notched one ace, one kill and a match-high 43 assists, while Jake Welch had two blocks.
