The Patterson Mill Huskies walked away from their Tuesday boys volleyball matchup with a hard-fought victory, topping the host Havre de Grace Warriors, 3-2.
Patterson Mill took the first game, 25-22, while Havre de Grace rallied to a 25-16 win in the second game. The hosts took the third, 26-24, while Patterson Mill cruised to a 25-10 victory in the must-win fourth game. In the tie-breaker, Patterson Mill sealed the victory, 15-8.
Leading the Warriors in their defeat was Sebastian Pruitt, who had 11 kills, four digs and one ace. Sean Darney had six digs, three kills and three assists in the loss, while teammate Josean Ponce notched six kills, four aces and three assists. Glenn Joseph had three kills and a team-high seven assists for Havre de Grace, while teammate Paul Butz had two kills.
