Two of the Upper Chesapeake Bay Athletic Conference's boys lacrosse juggernauts met in Pylesville Friday night, where North Harford hosted Fallston in a Chesapeake Division game.

North Harford raced out to a 6-1 first quarter lead and Fallston, with few first quarter possessions, found itself in a hole the Cougars couldn't climb out of. The Hawks answered every Fallston offensive surge with one of their own, pulling away even further for the 18-9 win. North Harford's lead was 10-4 at half.

The contest was the Hawks, 1-0 league, 7-0 overall, first division game, while Fallston, the defending conference champion, slipped to 1-1 in the league and 4-3 overall.

Brooks Billings led the North Harford onslaught with five goals and two assists, while Nolan Hood and Andrew Siegel each added four goals. Randy Foster (three assists) netted a pair and single goals were scored by Andrew Kropkowski, Will Duley and Brett Hurley. Colin Keating also had one assist.

Andrew Siegel won 15-of-25 faceoffs for the Hawks.

Kyle D'Onofrio scored five goals to lead Fallston. Tommy Kisielnicki scored two, while James Glezen and Wesley Rumple also had goals. Marc Badger and Glezen each had two assists in the loss.

Hawks goalie Cameron Brosh finished with eight saves and Fallston goalie Mark Wollenweber had four saves.

Cougars rebound against Mariners

Fallston (5-3 overall) rebounded quite nicely Monday from Friday's loss, hosting and beating Joppatowne (3-4 overall), 18-6, in a non-league contest.

Kisielnicki paced the Cougars scoring with four goals, while Brent McGuire and Jeremy Scranton each scored three goals. Connor Chenworth added two goals and single goals were scored by Ryan Buckler, Garrett Wolf, Chris Dunnigan, Garrett Krug, Kyle McKeever and Steven Ernst.

McKeever added three assists and Wolf had two. Chenworth, Badger, Tyler Scott, Andrew Stump and Scranton also had assists.

Austin Kocsan, Tyler Saunders and Kevin Kinyua scored two goals apiece for the Mariners and Saunders and Kinyua had assists.

Joppatowne goalie William Venny had eight saves, while Fallston played two goalies, with Liam Wilcox posting four saves and Nick Buckler making one.

Fallston led, 11-2, at the half.

Rams beat Panthers

Edgewood (1-1 league, 2-6 overall) went on the road Friday to get its first Susquehanna win, beating Perryville, 14-5.

Joe Ludwig highlighted the win, scoring four goals and assisting on four more. Shawn Kluchinsky added four goals and three assists, while Ryan Stiemly had two goals and four assists.

Keenan Kros, Dan Gorski, Jake Wilmer and TayVaugn Buie each had single goals for the Rams, and Mike Ryan had two assists.

Mustangs beat Huskies

C. Milton Wright (1-1 league, 7-2 overall) also posted a big Chesapeake win Friday night, edging host Patterson Mill, 8-6.
