At Thursday's Chesapeake Division showdown at Ripken Stadium in Aberdeen, the CMW boys came away with a 13-1 victory over North Harford.
The game was stopped after five innings by the 10-run mercy rule.
CMW starter Matt Henigan went all five innings, striking out six and holding the Hawks to four hits.
The Mustangs' Dakota Stern was 2-for-2 with three runs and two steals, while Jake Labe went 3-for-4 with a double and two runs. Bryce Schulz and Ricky Scheeler had identical stat lines, each going 2-for-3 with two RBIs.
Warriors topped by Panthers
The Havre de Grace baseball squad lost for the second time this season to Perryville on Thursday night, losing 8-4 loss to the host-team Panthers.
In their last meeting with Perryville, the Warriors lost a 20-15 slugfest.
Trailing, 1-0, after Perryville scored one run in the bottom of the first, the Warriors saw the Panthers pull ahead, 7-0, with a six-run outburst in the second. Havre de Grace scored four times in the third, but the damage had been done. Perryville scored its final run in the sixth.
Kyle Gorham, Corey Thompson, Cameron Standiford and Luis Nieves each collected one RBI in the loss.
The defeat dropped Havre de Grace to 2-8 overall and 2-7 in Susquehanna Division play.
