The C. Milton Wright Mustangs picked up a dual meet victory Wednesday night, but it wasn't just another win. The Mustangs defeated visiting Elkton, handily, winning 59-15, and celebrated an individual accomplishment in the process.

Senior Ben Swanson collected his 100th career win in the 145-pound bout and did so quite quickly, earning a pin in 1:19. Only teammate Mike Zito was faster, pinning in 1:11 at 132.

Philip Flint, 160; Mickey Glendon, 170; Doug Thier, 182; and Noah Bowers, 195, also won by pin for CMW. Spencer Hellman added a 14-0 major decision at 138 and the other Mustang wins came by forfeits to Dan Wesdock, 113, and Alan Dorsey, 285.

Huskies thump Panthers

Patterson Mill won all but three matches Wednesday in a 64-14 thumping of visiting Perryville.

The Huskies racked up seven pins, a major decision and accepted three forfeits to roll up 64 points.

Earning pins were Connor Allmon, 106; Mark Mossa, 120; Bryan Miser, 132; Thomas Trzeciak, 138; Jason Noss, 145; Connor McLeod, 195; and Mark Reuter, 285.

Erick Eckstein won the major decision, 11-3, at 220, while forfeits were won by Paul Difonzo, 112; Cody Hughes, 152; and David Mitchell, 160.

One of Perryville's three wins was the highlighted match of the night at 126, where Panther Chris Brown edged Patterson Mill's Jake Nikkila, 3-0.

David Doring won by pin at 170 and Jake Ritter won a 16-0 technical fall at 182 for Perryville's other wins.

Bobcats beat Eagles

Bel Air picked off another win Wednesday night, beating visiting Bo Manor, 43-21. The Bobcats won eight bouts to earn the win.

The Bobcats were in a 12-0 hole to start after two Bo Manor pins, but John Cross put the Bobcats on the scoreboard at 152, pinning Roberto Torres in 3:34. Anthony Zappaunbulso followed at 160, winning a 6-3 decision over Matt Sciamanna. A pair of forfeits for Bel Air at 170 and 182 propelled the Bobcats ahead and they rolled from there.

William Holder-Moore pinned Rodney Fisher in 3:27 at 195 and with it, celebrated his 100th career win. Cyler Crawford added an 8-0 major decision over Luke Ford at 220. Bo Manor won the next three bouts by close decisions, while Bel Air won the final three bouts.

Brady Stafford pinned Preston Kist in 1:17 at 120, while Connor Nash won 9-4 over Josh Hewes at 126. Cameron Watts won the final bout at 132, 3-0 over Jacob Winward.

Cougars top Cobras

Fallston also continued to win Wednesday, beating host Harford Tech, 49-21. The Cougars won 10 of 14 matches.

CJ Austin got the Cougars off to a fast start at 160, pinning Steven Freeland in 58 seconds. Tech countered at 170 with Thomas Getachew pinning Gabe Wagner in 1:50.

The Cobras then took a lead when Nathan Cook pinned Josh Greene in 32 seconds at 182, but Fallston tied the meet back up at 195 on Ridge Meyers' 4:26 fall of Aziz Burkhanov.

Tech inched back ahead at 220 on a Caleb Warner 10-9 OT decision of Alec Milner, but the Cougars then reeled off seven straight wins and closed the meet by winning eight of the final nine bouts.
