Golf teams went back to the tee boxes and greens Tuesday as the golf season continued with three matches.
Leading the way, Bel Air remained unbeaten at Maryland Golf and Country Clubs, shooting 228 to beat C. Milton Wright, 244, and Edgewood, 291.
Nick Loiodice shot a an even par round of 37 to pace the Bobcats, while Tyler Newton shot 43. Sam Tepelides shot 48 and Cody Smith added a 49. Spencer Comitz and Kevin Morrissey both shot 51. One score counted in the team scoring.
Ian Moore shot 41 to lead CMW and Matt Smith shot 48. Bruce Hoffman and Shawn Wiersbowski each shot 51 and Brett Elliott rounded out the Mustangs scoring with 53.
Edgewood's top scorer was Connor Johnson, who shot 49. The other Rams contributing to the scoring were Victor Tusha, 59; Ethan Bowlin, 59; Evan Shuck, 62; and Wyatt Ortman, 62.
Fallston beats Patterson Mill
At Mountain Branch Golf Course, host Fallston defeated Patterson Mill, 197-229. Joppatowne also participated, but with just three golfers, did not post a team score.
Fallston was led by Zach Billings' round of 37, while Connor Van Scyoc added a 39. JD Appel and Nick Petraglia each shot 40 and Dylan Wolf closed out the Cougars scoring with 41.
Brendan Mahoney shot 43 to pace the Huskies, while Sean Powers carded a 45. Jacob Buher and Luke Sharretts each shot 46 and Matt Gabor added a 49.
Joppatowne's three players were Josh Spleidt, 48; Zach Dietz, 49; and Cory Brewer, 63.
At Ruggles Golf Course, host Aberdeen ended up playing themselves as Elkton and Havre de Grace didn't have full teams required for team scoring.
Aberdeen, led by Mitchell Hardin's 40, scored 246. Other Aberdeen scores were David Fulp, 46; Emily Byers, 48; Max Craig, 53; and Charles Hash, 59.
Elkton's scorers were Alex Rosenthal, 51; Nick Gregson, 55; and Jackson Hill, 63.
