Key newcomers: Colleen Riding, Jr., (Halfback); Lauren Herrington, Fr., (Halfback)

Outlook: "With the big monkey off our back with that first win in many years last year, we are looking to add more than just one win to the win column this year," coach Randy Cypher said. "With a hard working group of returning players that have worked very hard this off-season on their game and a splash of new talent we are ready to compete. So bring on the season."

2011 record: 14-3-1

Top returning players: Olivia DiFonso, Sr., (Midfield); Nicole Wojcik, Sr., (Attack); Sopie Centi, Jr., (Defender)

Key newcomers: NA

Outlook: "Although losing only four seniors, they were the heart of the defense and most of those spots will be filled with much younger players," coach Gary Lynch said. "Success will depend on the ability to build the team from the back-to-the-front and the ability to have younger players make big contributions."

Top returning players: Joelle Matthews, Sr., (Forward/Defense); Sami Soul, So., (Forward/Midfield); Paige Miller, Sr., (Midfield)

Key newcomers: Breanna Kazamias, Fr., (Midfield/Forward)

"The returning players have continued to have a positive attitude and have truly stepped up to be leaders to the newcomers to the team," coach Megan Bongiovanni said. "This year Joppatowne's girls soccer team is a young and small squad but has literally been getting better with every practice and scrimmage. We look forward to looking back in October and seeing great strides of improvement from August."

Outlook: "With only four returning starters, 10 new players who have never played a minute of varsity soccer, four freshman and two sophomores on the roster, we have a completely new look," coach Tom Berg said. "There is some talent, but it will take time to put everything together. Our defense will have to carry us in the early stages of the season.
