Edgewood picked up a Susquehanna win Thursday evening over neighboring rival and host Joppatowne, 13-8. Edgewood (1-1/2-4) led Joppatowne (0-2/1-3) at the half, 9-3.

Kara Andrews and Natalee Olah led Edgewood with four goals each. Andrews also had two assists.

Caitlin Rankin added two goals and three assists and Ladae Boykin also had two goals. Alyssa Rankin chipped in with one goal and one assist.

Joppatowne's scoring was led by Christina Miller and Emma McDougall. McDougall had three goals and two assists and Miller had three goals and one assist.

Julie Sands and Katelyn Fabi also scored goals and Cara Chisholm dished out one assist.

In the goal for Edgewood, Taylor Kennedy-Larosa had 18 saves, while Joppatowne played two keepers. Samantha Soul had nine saves and Felicia Okoye had five saves.

Huskies fall to Comets

Patterson Mill hosted Catonsville Friday night in a non-league contest, won by the visiting Comets, 13-8. The Huskies (2-6) trailed 6-1 at the half.

Emily Keesling scored five times to lead the Huskies and Sam Herman contributed two goals. Brittany Cudmore finished with a goal and four assists.

Patterson Mill goalie Erin Dent had five saves.

Bobcats split at Friendship Tourney

Bel Air (3-3) went 1-1 Saturday at the Friendship Tournament at Mt. de Sales. The Bobcats beat Northern 15-2, but lost to Mt. de Sales, 11-9.

In the win, Tori Gryglewski scored four goals, while Cassidy Jones, Hayley Krause, Brooke Lorber and Danielle Wilson scored two goals apiece. Natalie Decker, Madison Eurice and Sam Keesey also scored goals.

Lorber and Krause had two assists each, while Shannon Williams, Jones and Eurice each had one assist.

In the loss, Jones, Krause and Lorber had two goals each, while Williams, Gryglewski and Keesey had a goal apiece. Jones and Williams also had assists.

Patriots get win

John Carroll improved to 3-5 last week, winning at Garrison Forest, 14-10, Friday.

Mackenzie Reese tossed in five goals and Erica Bodt added three goals and four assists. Caroline Haggerty, Meredith Haggerty, Grace Richards, Emma Wall, Susie Snee and Mary Emory Gaeng each scored single goals.

Haley Kyger and Meredith Haggerty also had assists.

John Carroll goalies Alexa DiPeso and Carlee Ries made eight and four saves, respectively.
