Patterson Mill highlighted Monday's girls lacrosse action, with a dominating 18-2 win over visiting North East. The Huskies led 15-2 at the half.
Gabby Vujanic led the winners with five goals and three assists, while EJ Karwatka added four goals and four assists. Sam Herman had two goals and five assists, and Sarah Alders chipped in with three goals and one assist.
Amy Bednarek also had two goals, while Brittie Andrews and Nina Urban each had single goals. Mariel Castronova contributed three assists in the win.
Patterson Mill goalie Erin Dent made nine saves.
Cobras beat Mariners
Harford Tech notched a lopsided girls lacrosse win Monday night, beating host Joppatowne, 14-1.
Becca Williams paced the Cobras with a four-goal night, while Megan Campbell and Courtney Poole each scored three goals. Gabby Spalt and Tori Arcilesi closed the Tech scoring with two goals apiece.
Williams also had two assists, and Alex Blanco and Brittany Bowman each had one.
Christina Miller tallied Joppatowne's lone goal.
Tech goalie Bryana Weston-Wyatt had four saves and Joppatowne keeper Felicia Okoye had 10 saves.
Warriors beat Eagles
Havre de Grace was a winner as well Monday night, hosting rival Aberdeen and defeating the Eagles, 15-4. The Warriors led at the half, 7-3.
Lauren Herrington and Taylor Johnson led the Warriors, each scoring three goals, while Herrington also had two assists.
Kara Neiberlein added a pair of goals and assists, and Colleen McCormick also scored twice and assisted on another. Margaret Stump was a two-goal, one-assist performer, too.
Single goals were scored by Rebecca Angelini, Katie Thompson and Kylee Barber. Haley Dean and Carly Thompson each had assists.
Johnson led with five draw controls and Stump had three ground balls. Helen Boniface had three caused turnovers and goalie Abbie Blessing recorded 10 saves.
Cougars edge Towson
Fallston hosted Towson and won, 9-7, but no manager at the game resulted in no stats being available, according to Cougars Head Coach Mike McTeague.
Rams edge Eagles in OT
Edgewood and Aberdeen girls lacrosse teams hooked up in a contest Friday night that needed overtime to settle a winner. Host Edgewood won, 15-13, in overtime. The game was tied 5-5 at half and 12-12 through regulation.
