Cobras lose at Elkton

Harford Tech (0-5, 2-6) lost at Elkton, 28-12, Thursday night in Susquehanna play.

Tech fell behind, 7-0, but quickly responded with an 82-yard touchdown run by Isaiah Gills. The conversion failed, leaving the Cobras behind, 7-6.

Elkton scored two more touchdowns before the half to put Tech behind, 21-6.

Tech scored to start the fourth quarter on a 28-yard run by Gills, but the conversion failed again, making it, 21-12. Elkton then added a late touchdown to close out the scoring at 28-12.

Bobcats lose Homecoming

Bel Air took a break from UCBAC schedule Thursday night and hosted New Town for Homecoming. The Titans were not impressed, visiting and leaving with a 35-6 win over the Bobcats (3-5).

Bel Air's only points came though the air as quarterback Matt Wallace connected with Ben Webber on a 20-yard pass play.

Panthers drop Rams

Edgewood (2-3, 3-5) hosted and lost to Perryville, 43-20, Thursday night in Susquehanna action. The Panthers (5-0, 8-0) led at the half, 36-0.

The Panthers got on the scoreboard on a 20-yard touchdown pass to Brian Matthews from Elijah Johnson. Matthews then added a score as a defender picked off an Edgewood pass and returned it 50 yards for the score.

Ethan Griffin added the third touchdown on a 20-yard pass from Johnson and Joe Peaker got into the scoring column on a 40-yard run.

Cody Hicks also scored on a 12-yard run and kicker Josh Bargsten added a 28-yard field goal.

Izaiah Sneed led Edgewood's efforts with 85 yards and two touchdowns on 33 carries.
