The Fallston Cougars evened their record at 2-2 Friday, hosting and beating Good Counsel, 4-1, in non-league field hockey action. The Cougars led 2-0 at halftime.
Elizabeth Hebert scored two of the Cougars goals, while Nicole McDiarmid and Dani McDiarmid each had a goal as well. Becky Streett was credited with one assist.

Harford Tech (2-2) dropped its second field hockey game in a week Thursday, falling to visiting Perryville, 3-1.
The Cobras led at the half, 1-0, on a Lyndsey Endlich goal. Brittany Kapustensky assisted off a corner, one of four for Tech in the game. Perryville had 15.
Kenady Schwinn had 12 saves and Hannah Snyder also saw goal time for Tech. Tyler Bethke and Hannah Soellner had great games for Tech, noted coach Amanda Sheldon.
Mustangs lose first
C. Milton Wright (3-1) lost its first regular season contest Thursday, losing 1-0, at Century. Mustangs goalie Sydney Rhodes had 11 saves.
Mariners blank Warriors
Joppatowne (2-1) scored two goals in the first half Thursday and made them stand up as the Mariners beat visiting Havre de Grace, 2-0.
Scoring for the Mariners were Darrisha Small, with an assist by Deja Turner and Katelyn Fabi, with an assist by Alexis Watson.
Coach Stella Kalambihis noted that Ashley Martinez and Rodneisha Scott both had great games controlling the midfield for Joppatowne.
Havre de Grace (0-3) goalie Joy Mullins had 10 saves. Kalambihis also credited Haley Stewart for having an outstanding game on attack for Havre de Grace.
HCS blanks Aberdeen
Harford Christian beat host Aberdeen 1-0 Thursday. Stephanie Tittel scored the lone goal in the first half on a penalty corner, assisted by Leah Edwards. Hayley Stephens had nine saves in goal for HCS. Aberdeen slipped to 1-2.
HCS loses
Harford Christian played Indian Creek School on Friday and lost, 9-1. Edwards scored, assisted by Tittel. Stephens had nine saves.
