Top prospects, girls: Grace Lekites (Sr.), Kathryn Milwicz (Sr.), Fiona Puglese (Sr.), Emily Scranton (Sr.), Samatha Lewis, (Jr.), Kay Rinkers (So.), Brooke Hutton (Jr.), Claire Palmer (Jr.), Emma Freeman (Jr.)
Outlook: The girls' team is likely to improve on its 2011 record, with returning seniors and juniors bringing considerable experience to the team of 14 girls. The boys' team lost to graduation the top runners who led it to a third-place UCBAC finish last fall. Junior Sam Burgess has taken over as the pace-setter for this team of 31 boys.

Top prospects, boys: Braeden Ferrell (So.), Bryce Ferrell (So.), Rondez Green (Sr.), Stephen Link (So.), Branden Sofia (So.)
Top prospects, girls: Madison Bauld (Fr.), Tara Brown (Fr.), Kaitlyn Castillo (Jr.), Emily Ferrell (Fr.), Allison Grabowski (Jr.), Danielle Jankovick (Jr.), Abbigale Lyons, (Fr.), Delaney Newhart (Jr.), Martine Innicello (Jr.).
Outlook: The Ferrell twins, who ran well in their freshman track season last spring, should provide a good nucleus for the nine-member boys' team, which is young and inexperienced in cross-country. The girls team returns two from last year, and there are promising newcomers among the five team members.
John Carroll

Top prospects, girls: Rebecca Driver (Sr.), Sam Clarke (Sr.), Shannon Vinton (Sr.), Kristen Kohles (Jr.), Amanda Spaeth (Jr.), Alex Gromacki (Jr.), Elizabeth Driver (So.), Rachel Amrhein (So.), Holly Driver (Fr.), Ellie Marindin (Fr.).
Outlook: The girls team is expected to be strong even though it lost its top runners to graduation. "This year's team is going to surprise many with five new girls challenging our veterans in the top seven," said Rob Torres. There are 21 girls on the team. The boys team returns three of its top five from last year and has a promising group of newcomers among the 15 team members. The challenge will be in filling out the top five with newcomers.
