Indians edge Rams

Edgewood put up a good battle, but lost at North East Thursday, 2-1.

Nathan Duncan had the lone goal for the Rams in a game that Edgewood Coach Ho Chang believed the officials could have done a better job.

"Officials need to have better control of the game," Chang wrote in an email. "It took North East player to tackle a Edgewood player at full speed with his head down in the second half before they started to call fouls. The North East player was clearly not going for the ball. He was embracing for contact and was given a yellow for this offense that took my player out of game."

Rams goalie Eric Glover had 19 saves.
