Hawks beat Warriors

North Harford defeated visiting Havre de Grace, 15-3, Wednesday night in Chesapeake action.

Andrew Siegel led the Hawks (1-2/7-4) with five goals, two assists and 10 ground balls, while Joel Linkous, John Heaps and Austin Ensor each netted two goals. Randy Foster, Max Mullin, Ryan Warren and defender TJ Hilton each scored single goals.

Brooks Billings and Mullin also added two assists apiece, while single assists were dished out by Linkous, Foster and Ensor.

Havre de Grace was led offensively by Casey Brown's one goal and one assist. Fellow freshmen Nick Burley and Connor Haffey added a goal apiece and Chris Anderson had an assist.

Hawk goalies Cameron Brosh (six saves) and Matt Goedeke (one save) combined on the win.

Warrior keeper Brian Cameron had 16 saves.

Eagles beat Rams

Aberdeen (2-3/3-7) cruised past visiting Edgewood, 17-2, in Susquehanna action Wednesday evening.

Ruchir Patel (three assists), Kevin Shumaker (two assists) and Jon Jones (two assists) each had three goals to lead the Eagles.

Jake Kilmon and Blaise Curtis (one assist) had two goals apiece, while Kyle Peters (three assists), Justin Howard (two assists), Chumani Johnson and Brendon Snead each had single goals.

Jake Wilmer accounted for both Edgewood (0-4/0-7) goals.

Patriots win two

John Carroll picked up two wins over the past week, winning 8-7 in overtime at home last Friday against Annapolis Area Christian School and then beat host Glenelg Country School, 17-6, Tuesday. The wins improved the Patriots record to 7-2.

In the most recent win, Boomer Walton scored five goals to lead the Patriots, while Jake Brown added four goals and one assist. Eric Riley finished with three goals and an assist and Nick Drueling had two goals. Sully Gerety, Cody Saunders and Kevin Gambrell each had single goals. Eric McIntyre contributed three assists and Gerety and Gambrell also had assists.

Brown and Patrick McGuirk combined to win 90 percent of the faceoffs. John Carroll goalies Alex Gambrell and Jack Miller each made six saves.

In the OT win last week, Gerety scored three times and assisted on two others to pace the winners. Dominic Mezzanotte added two goals and two assists and Brown had one goal and one assist. Walton and Alex Gambrell also had goals.

The Patriots received solid defense from Luke Steibe and Jack Hinder and goalies Miller and Alex Gambrell combined for 12 saves.
