C. Milton Wright gets first home win in boys lacrosse

The C. Milton Wright boys lacrosse team opened its home schedule Wednesday and the Mustangs did not disappoint the hometown faithful, beating Northeast-AA, 12-6. The Mustangs led at the half, 6-3.

Alex Meholic led the Mustangs with four goals and two assists, while Andy LeBrun added three goals and two assists. Paul Mirable netted two goals and Ben Boyd added a goal and three assists. John Amos and Nick Kramer also had goals. Alex Kleinberg had two assists and Drew Kissner and Manny Mastromanolis each had one.

CMW keeper Ryan Malone finished with seven saves.

Aberdeen beats Dundalk

Aberdeen picked up its second win, beating host Dundalk, 8-3, Wednesday.

Blaise Curtis highlighted the Eagles attack with three goals and one assist. Justin Howard chipped in with two goals and one assist.

Ethan Mauzy, Jon Jones and Jake Kilmon also scored in the win and Chumani Johnson dished out three assists.

Warriors beat Rams

Havre de Grace notched its first win, beating visiting Edgewood, 21-7, Wednesday at James R. Harris Stadium.

Brian Cameron (five goals, four assists) and Casey Brown (three goals, six assists) each had a big night to lead the Warriors. scoring five goals and assisting on four others. Ralph Batykefer and Nick Burley each had three goals, while Chris Anderson and Donald Matts both had a goal and two assists.

Shawn Kluchinsky led the Edgewood efforts with three goals and two assists. Ryan Stiemly added two goals and two assists, while Keenan Kros and Mike Ryan had one goal each.

Cougars fall Tuesday

In Tuesday's lone boys lacrosse game, Fallston gave up 10 goals in the first half en route to a 17-8 season opening loss to visiting St. Paul's.

Kyle D'Onofrio led the Cougars with three goals and two assists, while Marc Badger added two goals and a pair of assists. Wesley Rumple, Jeremy Scranton and Brendan Nolan added single goals.

Nick Baker and Nolan also had assists.

Carter Flaig led St. Paul's with three goals, while Mikey Wynne, Greg Louzan, Liam Anderson and Mitch Gordon had two each. 

Fallston played two goalies, with Mark Wollenweber making eight saves and Nick Buckler making seven.
