The John Carroll Patriots wrapped up their stint at the St. Benedictine Capital Classic boys basketball tournament in Richmond, Va., Saturday with a 55-50 victory over the Haverford, Va., squad.
With the victory, the Patriots ended the tournament in third place with a 2-1 overall mark.
John Carroll's Kimbal Mackenzie, who was selected to the All-Tournament First-Team, finished the game with 16 points, three assists, one rebound and one steal.
The Patriots' Rodney Elliott had seven points, two rebounds, two assists and one steal, while teammate Lionel Owona came through with five points, five rebounds and one steal. Mike Owona had eight rebounds, one assist and one block in the win, while fellow Patriot Malik Tyne notched nine points and one steal. Trystan Pratapas had six points, two rebounds and one steal for John Carroll, while Jordan Martin posted four points, three rebounds and one steal.
