Upper Chesapeake Health (UCH) is a community-based integrated, non-profit health system serving Harford County and surrounding areas. It owns and operates Harford Memorial Hospital in Havre de Grace, Upper Chesapeake Medical Center and Upper Chesapeake Health Foundation.

UCH is the leading health care system and largest private employer in Harford County with 2,700 team members and over 550 medical staff physicians. Harford Memorial Hospital (HMH) in historic Havre de Grace, MD has served the Harford County community for over 100 years old.

Today, the population stands at nearly 250,000 and Harford Memorial has a newly renovated facility that offers a full complement of medical, diagnostic and emergency care services. The hospital has a state-of-the-art intensive care unit and a busy Emergency Department that cares for over 50,000 patients a year. Harford Memorial offers specialized, hospital-based services, including a Bariatric Surgery Program, Anticoagulation Management, Center for Wound Care, inpatient and outpatient Behavioral Health services, Joint Center for hip and knee replacement, and a Sleep Disorder Center.

In 2010, Harford Memorial Hospital received the 2010 Delmarva Foundation Excellence Award for Quality Improvement from the Delmarva Foundation for Medical Care, the Medicare Quality Improvement Organization for Maryland.
