1937 War Admiral

War Admiral, who won the Triple Crown in his three-year-old season, raced at Havre de Grace in preparation for the classic races, as did his sire, Man O' War. In 1938, however, it was Seabiscuit who prepped at the Harford County track before taking on War Admiral and beating him in their match race at Pimlico, still considered among the greatest contests in American turf history.
