As Journey Stories comes to a close, I would like to thank the Harford County community for its support and participation as we explored our heritage and enjoyed the Smithsonian Exhibit at the Abingdon Library.
There was something for everyone including visits with award-winning authors and local celebrities, a reception featuring an Apollo 15 Astronaut, and the first Romancing the Chrome Car Show. All of this was made possible by the support provided by our partners, generous sponsors, dedicated volunteers and staff. A special thanks to County Executive, David Craig, for supporting the vision of a cultural marathon and to the Department of Community Services for being instrumental in making this a success.
In addition, a very special thanks to the following individuals and groups who supported Journey Stories in Harford County in so many ways: Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service; Maryland Humanities Council; Harford County Department of Community Services; The Hosanna School Museum; Akehurst Landscape Service, Inc.; The Kelly Group; Keene Dodge; WXCY-FM; Harford Friends School; The Aegis; PNC Bank; Events by I did it Myself; Richardson's; Harford's Heart; Klein's ShopRite; Commission for Women; Harford County Public Library Board of Trustees; Harford County Council; Acer Exhibits and Events; Bel Air Alliance; Mr. Tire; Harford Sanitation Services; Stone House Publications; Select Event Rentals; Aberdeen Rotary Club; BAE Systems; Bel Air Friends; The Town of Bel Air; The City of Havre de Grace; The City of Aberdeen; Gordon-Feinblatt; Harford County Human Relations Commission; The Harford County Public Library Foundation; HC Style; Hilton Garden Inn; Richard & Susan Kinard; Main Street Cigars; Nature Unlimited; Rock Solid Hardscaping; Two Brothers Moving; Mark Welsh, BB&T; APG Federal Credit Union; Community Foundation of Harford County; Fast Frame of Bel Air; Hall's Septic Service; Harford County Cultural Arts Board; Jarrettsville Creamery and Deli; Jarrettsville Federal Savings and Loan Association; Jarrettsville Pharmacy; Jarrettsville Friends of HCPL; Lombardo's Market; Bill Schilling, Long & Foster Real Estate, Inc; Staff of HCPL; Harford County Council; Harford County Historical Society; Harford County Tourism; and the Harford County community.
