On behalf of the 12U Bel Air Braves travel baseball team, we would like to thank everyone who supported our fundraisers, bought raffle tickets, made donations or just wished us good luck throughout the season. The Braves have had a very successful season (29-8-1) which will culminate in playing in the Cal Ripken World Series as the host team from Harford County!
Members of the team are: Camren Exter, Michael Yetter, Ryan Neuberger, Daniel Webber, Nick Robinette, Michael Koski, Kyle Bright, Brian Ballard, Zach DeLuise, Andrew Brndjar, Jordan Ly and Carter Poulsen. The Braves are coached by Paul Exter, Rob Yetter and John Neuberger.
The team's schedule for the Cal Ripken World Series: Aug. 11, scrimmage against the Korean National time at Rockfield Park in Bel Air (time to be determined); Aug. 12, opening ceremonies, 7 p.m. at Ripken Stadium; Aug. 13, Game 1, 5 p.m. at Cal Sr.'s Yard; Aug. 14, Game 2, 8 p.m. at Cal Sr.'s Yard; Aug. 15, 2:30 p.m. Game 3 at Fenway; and Aug. 16, at noon, Game 4 at Fenway.
The team is very excited to be participating in the Cal Ripken World Series, and we hope you will find time in your schedule to make it out to the Ripken complex to watch the team compete against some of the best youth baseball teams from the U.S. and the world!
