The Harford County Department of Public Works announced that Pamela Drive Route 40 to Frans Drive in Abingdon has been reopened to traffic following the partial completion of major sewer main installation project.
The former traffic detour of Frans Drive to Longley Road to Long Bar Harbor Road to U.S. Route 40 is no longer in effect, the department said in a news release. However, DPW advises a second closing involving this road may be necessary in the future to allow for the completion of the remainder of the sewer main project.
