A 3-year-old girl was reunited with her parents late Sunday night after being accidentally left behind by family members at the Bel Air Chuck E. Cheese.
The girl, named Harmony, approached a Chuck E. Cheese employee after 8 p.m. Sunday and said she was thirsty, at which point staff could not locate her family and contacted the Harford County Sheriff's Office, according to a sheriff's office news release.
Sheriff's deputies waited at Chuck E Cheese with Harmony until approximately 9:30 p.m. before returning to the Southern Precinct station in Edgewood and having a media release with her picture sent out. Shortly after information about the girl was broadcast on 11 p.m. television news programs, deputies received calls from her mother and father, who share joint custody.
Harford Child Protective Services released Harmony to her mother after both parents came to the Southern Precinct station.
Deputies learned through their investigation that the girl was left behind after her family members thought she was in the company of other family members at the restaurant, according to the sheriff's office.
