"House of Cards" casting call

The final open casting call for Season One of the Netflix Series "House of Cards" will be held Saturday, Sept. 8, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Bel Air Reckord Armory at 41 N. Main St.

Central Casting says it's looking for union and non-union extras for the original series starring Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright. This will be the final open casting call for Season One of this series which is shooting in Harford County and elsewhere in the Baltimore area.

In addition to extras, applicants may also be considered for recurring or featured roles, Central Casting said. A similar casting call held at the armory on June 10 drew several hundred people hoping to earn a small part in the show.

For the latest call, Central Casting said it is looking for the following:

• Elegant Washington types, 40-60 years old, all ethnicities, male and female;

• Military types, enlisted and officers, 21-50 years old, all ethnicities, male and female;

• Capitol Hill staffers, aides, reporters, 21-34 years old, all ethnicities, male and female;

• Politicians, lobbyist, reporters, 40-60 years old, all ethnicities, male and female;

• Teenagers;

• Young men and women, ages 18 and up.

Business attire is required for the call. Those attending should bring a current head shot, or if no head shot is available, a current snapshot is satisfactory.

Those unable to attend and who have not yet submitted a photo/resume should send them to ccsubmissions01@gmail.com. Include a jpeg photo labeled with both your name and phone number and in the body of the e-mail include all your sizes along with height and weight. Do not forget to include a current phone number.
