The Aegis Empty Stocking Fund continues to raise money and receive donations of new, unwrapped toys, as the Harford County-based charity works to help more than 350 Harford County families and senior citizens in need have a happier holiday season.

The Jewelry Extravaganza and Holiday Show committee wishes to thank all who came out and supported the event Saturday and also help the Empty Stocking Fund. Thanks also to all the children who stopped by to see Santa and left a toy during the annual toy drive Saturday at the Bel Air Reckord Armory. Many thanks for all the donations of toys and bikes given to Santa for needy children to open on Christmas morning, and special thanks to the Wagner family for the many toys and bikes they delivered. The Empty Stocking Fund greatly appreciates each toy, large or small. Thank you, one and all.

The Empty Stocking Committee would like to also thank Harford Ballet for its yearly support and the many toys collected at its production of "The Nutcracker" on Sunday.

The fund-raising goal for this year is $80,000, and $48,504 had been received as of Monday morning.

Special thanks to Tina and Chris Andon for a donation of $2,000, and to Brian T. Reilley, for a donation of $100. Several anonymous donations have also been received, for which the Empty Stocking Fund Committee wishes to thank all who have given.

Please help us help others. No contribution is too small. If you would like to help brighten the holidays for a needy family, please send a check, for any amount to The Aegis Empty Stocking Fund, P.O. Box 189, Bel Air, Md., 21014.
