Four adults have been displaced as a result of a Sunday afternoon dwelling fire in Edgewood.
The call came in around 3:30 p.m. for a fire in the 1900 block of Harewood Road, Rich Gardiner, Harford County Fire and EMS Association spokesman, said.
No one was injured, and a cause has not been determined yet, Gardiner said.
The fire was contained within 10 minutes, he said.
Responding to the fire were volunteer fire companies from Abingdon, Joppa-Magnolia and Kingsville, along with the Aberdeen Proving Ground Fire Department - Edgewood Area.
The fire originated in the kitchen of the one-story "split foyer" single family home, according to the Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office.
The fire caused about $25,000 worth of damage to the structure and an estimated $10,000 in damages to contents, according to the fire marshal's office.
The home, owned by John Thomas Baker Jr., did not have working smoke alarms, the fire marshal's said in a notice of investigation about the fire.
