Route 1 reopened across Conowingo Dam following early Wednesday accident

Route 1 over Conowingo Dam was closed in both directions for nearly 10 hours Wednesday following an early morning accident involving a tractor trailer that spilled its load after it struck a farm tractor hauling a corn planter.
