Derek William Strickland, 29, of the 600 block of Curtis Street, was arrested on a bench warrant Wednesday in a case in which he was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol per se.

Martin Antoine Fisher, 21, who has addresses in the 700 block of Clayton Street and 400 block of Edmund Street, was arrested on a bench warrant Wednesday in a case in which he was charged with vandalism.

Nakita Diane Rose, 47, who has addresses in the 100 block of Post Road and 200 block of Mayberry Drive, was arrested on two bench warrants Wednesday in cases she was charged with theft less than $1,000 and theft less than $100.

People were shooting guns last Friday at South Stepney Road and Old Philadelphia Road.

Jose Mercedes Rivas, 49, of the 2700 Beckon Drive, was charged Tuesday with theft between $1,000 and $10,000.

James Lee McMullin, 54, of the 2000 block of Starr Street, was charged Wednesday with possession of a drug other than marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Christopher Scott Ryan, 18, who has addresses in the 1700 block of Melwood Court and the 2100 block of Cedar Drive, was charged Monday with drug possession with intent to distribute, marijuana possession, contributing to the condition of a child, two counts of second-degree assault and two counts of second-degree child abuse of a child in his custody. The child abuse charges relate to an incident in which he allegedly smoked marijuana while in the presence of two children.
