Bel Air Police say July 4 parade viewing spots cannot be saved prior to Wednesday; however, these spots were already staked out on North Main Street before noon Tuesday, and they weren't the only ones along the start of the parade route. Bel Air police are asking parade goers to not save seats until the day of the parade, Wednesday.
The Bel Air Fourth of July parade is Wednesday at 6 p.m., and according to a news release, the Bel Air Police Department does not want people to set out chairs and blankets until the day of the parade, not days in advance.
When chairs are set out too early, they have been blown into roadways into the past, have caused pedestrians to trip and can inhibit access to Main Street businesses, which are open on Tuesday, according to the release.
