A five-vehicle collision on I-95 near Belcamp shut down northbound traffic for about an hour Thursday morning but did not seriously injure anyone, Maryland State Police said.
The crash was caused by one tractor-trailer that jackknifed across the highway at about 8 a.m. near the Route 543 exit, Sgt. Beads of the State Police JFK Barrack said.
The tractor-trailer collided with another tractor-trailer and three more vehicles, Beads said.
Two people suffered minor injuries and were taken by ambulance to a hospital, he said.
All lanes were closed to northbound traffic on I-95 for about an hour, according to Beads, who said traffic was diverted onto Route 24 and onto Route 7.
No additional details were immediately available.
