An accident on I-95 in western Harford County closed three lanes to traffic at rush hour late Thursday afternoon and sent two people to the hospital.
Around 5 p.m. police and medical personnel were called to the scene of a two car accident in the lanes for southbound traffic not far from the exit from I-95 onto Route 152 in Joppa, according to Maryland State Police with the JFK Highway Barrack.
Two patients were taken by ambulance to area hospitals with what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
Three southbound lanes were closed to traffic for about an hour. All lanes of the busy interstate highway were reopened by 7 p.m. and traffic was moving smoothly, according to state police.Copyright © 2015, The Baltimore Sun
