Harford Community College will operate on a modified schedule on Friday, July 5. As a result, most college employees will not be working that day. The college is closed on Thursday, July 4 in observance of the Independence Day holiday.
Select personnel who support Continuing Education and Training's summer camps, the Early Learning Center for day care services and certain capital projects will continue to operate on July 5, including public safety, dining services, facilities maintenance and swimming pool staff.
Buildings that will remain open on Friday, July 5 include:
Edgewood Hall, Rooms 132, 144, 146, 163 and 166; Joppa Hall, Rooms 2, 9 and radio and TV broadcasting studios; Susquehanna Center, Rooms 207, 216 and 241, pool, stadium and athletic fields; Chesapeake Center, dining rooms and dining services; and Early Learning Center, day care services.
Under the modified schedule, the following buildings will be closed on Friday, July 5: library, Student Center, Hays-Heighe House, Havre de Grace Hall, Bel Air Hall, Aberdeen Hall, Maryland Hall and Fallston Hall.Copyright © 2015, The Baltimore Sun
