VIRGINIA TECH: The following Virginia Tech students were among those honored at the university's fall commencement ceremony Dec. 21, 2012, in Cassell Coliseum: Andrew Karas, Havre de Grace, who received a bachelor of science in sociology from the College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences; Nathaniel Haviland, Bel Air, who received a bachelor of science in construction engineering and management from the College of Engineering; Brandon Boehmer, Fallston, who received a bachelor of science in mathematics from the College of Science; Kyle Mirabile, Fallston, who received a bachelor of science in wood science and forest products from the College of Natural Resources and Environment; Eric Smith, Jarrettsville, who received a bachelor of science in environmental policy and planning from the College of Architecture and Urban Studies; and Shannon Bone, Pylesville, who received a bachelor of science in biological sciences from the College of Science.
