An Edgewood residence was hit Jan. 23 by gunfire, the Harford County Sheriff's Office reported Tuesday.
No one was hurt, but a bullet penetrated a kitchen cabinet and lodged inside a lunch bag.
Two residents in the 1800 block of Grempler Way told police at 11:50 p.m. they heard three gunshots outside, and that one round penetrated the kitchen wall.
Deputies found a bullet hole on the front of the house just above the kitchen window, which is on the second floor.
The residents said they were standing in the living room at the time, which is in the back of the residence.
Neither of them looked out the window or could provide any suspect information, according to charging documents.
Deputies canvassed the area and contacted several neighbors, most of whom wished to remain anonymous and confirmed they had heard three shots.
