Maryland State Police and Sheriff's Office reports:

Matthew Justin Beckner, 18, of the 100 block of West Inca Street, was charged Wednesday with second-degree assault.

Mark Anthony Hooker, 50, of the first block of West Inca Street, was charged Wednesday with possessing a drug other than marijuana.

Jeffrey Mark Cannella, 52, of the 600 block of South Philadelphia Boulevard, was charged Wednesday with third-degree burglary, fourth-degree burglary, second-degree assault and having an alcoholic beverage in a retail establishment.

A vehicle was off the road in the woods last Friday on Beards Hill and Maxa roads.

Electrical smoke was reported in a basement in the 200 block of Schmechel Street last Friday.

A wallet was stolen at Super 8 Motel, in the 1000 block of Beards Hill Road, last Friday.

Tires were stolen from a vehicle in a new car lot in the 500 block of South Philadelphia Boulevard on Saturday.

A car drove off with a gas pump handle at Sunoco, in the 600 block of South Philadelphia Boulevard, on Saturday.

An employee took someone's money and refused to return it Saturday at Home Depot, in the 900 block of Beards Hill Road.
