Kristen L. Hipple, 31, of the first block of Haverhill Road in Joppa, was charged Sunday with theft less than $1,000.

Dominic G. Pretlow, 26, of the 1700 block of Carrs Mill Court in Fallston, was charged Monday with second-degree assault.

A man was abusing a child last Wednesday in the 400 block of Dawn Court.

Someone threw something at a car while stopped at a light Friday at South Philadelphia Boulevard and Walmart Way.
