An Edgewood man is being held at the Harford County Detention Center without bail after allegedly assaulting his sister with a kitchen knife.
Brandon Baldwin, of the 1400 block of Charlestown Drive in Edgewood, has been charged with first- and second-degree assault, as well as intent to injure with a dangerous weapon.
A preliminary hearing on the case is scheduled for Dec. 27.
There is a case currently pending against Baldwin, 23, in Harford County Circuit Court on charges of first- and second-degree assault, third- and fourth-degree burglary and reckless endangerment.
During Baldwin's bail review hearing in Bel Air Friday afternoon, Assistant State's Attorney Jennifer Bober, reading from the charging documents, said Baldwin allegedly assaulted his sister with a 5-inch kitchen knife, as a result of an argument. Baldwin allegedly chased her around the house before she fled to a neighbor's.
Baldwin's mother, fiancée and child were in the courtroom during his hearing.
District Court Judge Mimi Cooper ordered Baldwin to be held without bail and have no contact with the victim.
