Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Nathan McKinsie on their wedding Saturday at the Barn in Jarrettsville. Mrs. McKinsie is the former Reba Hause, the daughter of Cheryl Whited and the late William Ross Hause. She is also the grand-daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Wilbur Scholl and Mr. and Mrs. Bob Brower. The wedding party included the matron of honor Ashley Barton, sister of the bride; bridesmaids Chrissy Grove, sister of the bride, Julua Berg, niece of the bride, Amy Donoho, cousin of the bride; junior bridesmaid Reba Grove, niece of the bride; flower girls Kylie and Ava McKinzie, daughters of the groom; best man Shane Cantrell, friend of the groom; and Groomsmen Jesse Spencer, friend of the groom, Greg Grove, brother-in-law of the bride, and Brendon Donoho, cousin of the bride.
Congratulations to Donny Morse and Stephanie Ratcliff on the birthday of their daughter, Hannah Lynn, at 5:10 a.m. Nov. 1 at 9 pounds and 20 inches. Hannah is the first grandchild for Shirley and Don Morse. She is the great-granddaughter of Herbert and Mary Lou Southall.
An all-you-can-eat breakfast is set at Harmony Lodge on Tome Highway Saturday from 7 to 10 a.m.
Moore's Chapel United Methodist Church invites guests to The Pumpkin Prom – a dance for all ages on Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. Tickets are $5 per person with music by the Perfect Beast, free dance lessons from the Cecil Dancenter and refreshments and surprises. St. Paul's Lutheran Church will hold a Christmas Concert featuring Charlie Zahm on Saturday, Dec. 1 at 7 p.m. Tickets are on sale at 410-272-3111. Tickets are $10 for adults; kids 16 and under are free.
Jamie and Janet Goodwin enjoyed a fun filled week in Orlando, Fla., taking in all the tourist sites.
Ruthie and Hannah Ventela traveled to Jacksonville, Fla., to visit with Ruthie's brother and sister-in-law Roger and Sarah Southall. Ruthie and Hannah left on Thursday and were delayed for three days due to Hurricane Sandy.
Sam and Belinda Montgomery enjoyed a weekend Hershey, Pa., where they shopped till they dropped at the outlets.
Susie and Jack Thompson spent five days in Branson, Mo.
Ken and Gail Barthold traveled to Dayton, Ohio, to visit with Gail's parents, John and Julia Douglas.
Lindsey Earle is wished a belated birthday on Oct. 27.
Happy Nov. 12 birthday to Werner Eichhammer.
