Our Southall family held our annual Christmas Eve get-together at the home of Herb and Mary Lou Southall. Celebrating the Christmas holiday were Roger and I, Ruth and Hannah Ventela, Roger and Sarah Southall, Janet Southall, Shirley and Don Morse, Linda, Jeffrey and Natalie Barton along with Cory Livering and Natalie's boyfriend, Christian.
We gathered together on New Year's Eve for the birthday of Mary Lou Southall. The annual birthday celebration included a shrimp feast, and a variety of tasty foods including a birthday cake from Goll's Bakery. Those family members attending included Herb Southall, Roger and I, Janet Southall, Shirley and Don Morse, Donny Morse and his girlfriend, Stephanie, and baby daughter Hannah Lynn, Linda Southall-Barton, Jeffrey Barton, Cory Livering and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Peggy and Doc Scholl.
The Lehman family held its annual Christmas celebration at the home of Doug and Cindi Labant. Those in attendance were Roger and I, Ruth and Hannah Ventela, Roger and Sarah Southall, Carly Labant, Susie, Jimmy, Kelsey and Issi Glatts and Kimi, Randi and Connor Jenkins. Our family enjoyed a wonderful buffet of Christmas goodies, including Uncle Doug's famous chili. We exchanged gifts and enjoyed an exchange of gag gifts in a round robin contest. They also enjoyed a round of the new game "Apples to Apples" as well as a couple rounds of "Right, Left, Center."
Ruth and Hannah Ventela and I, met my sisters and families Cindi Labant, Susie, Kelsey and Issi Glatts' at the Bugaboo Creek Steak House in Christiana for an impromptu get-together Saturday right after the snow stopped. We all enjoyed an evening shopping for bargains at the mall.
Jake and Janice Shell were hosts for the annual Shell family Christmas party. The family gathers every other year at the Shell home. Jake and Janice welcomes Jake's parents, Tim and Betty Shell, and brother Tim Jr., and Robin Shell. Next year there will be a new little Shell joining the festivities. This year Janice's parents Homer and Joanne Robinson joined in the fun.
