Port Deposit: Bainbridge alumni to reunite this weekend

This week, the members of the U.S. Naval Training Center Bainbridge Association will gather at the Clarion Hotel in Aberdeen for the 14th Bainbridge Reunion. Association President Arline Caliger reported in the summer issue of the USNTC Bainbridge Newsline that this year marks the end of her members' drive for donations toward their memorial stone. The stone, representing "all the footsteps we have made," is to be dedicated Friday, Sept. 28, at Port Deposit's Veterans Memorial Plaza. Arline hopes the monument will be a continuing reminder of those who passed through the gates of the Bainbridge Naval Training Center from 1942 through 1976.
