It's Storytime! The Darlington library will be offering a storytime (all ages, no registration required) on the third Saturday of each month at 10:30 a.m.

The Darlington Apple Festival will be held Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Darlington. Lots of activities and selling of wares and food vendors will be there to assist you shop and eat. Entertainment throughout the day. Come out to enjoy the many varieties of apple fixings, which include apple dumplings, pies, cakes and much more.

The Dublin United Methodist Church Apple-icous Day is being held Friday and Saturday at the church. Apple pies, apple crisp, apple crunch cake and Jewish apple cakes will be available by order. Available for pick-up on Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon.

Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church is holding its Fall Festival Saturday, Oct. 12 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the church, 1520 Deep Run Road. Yard sale, food, live music and moon bounce.

The Darlington Volunteer Fire Co. will hold its monthly breakfast on Sunday, October 13 from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. Come enjoy this buffet all-you-can-eat breakfast which features gravy and biscuits, eggs, waffles, coffee, milk and tea to name a few.

A Crop Walk will be Saturday, Oct. 19 in Aberdeen. The walk begins and ends at Aberdeen Festival Park with registration at 8:30 a.m. with opening ceremony to begin 9 a.m. To walk with Dublin United Methodist Church call 410-836-3535 or for further information you may call Aberdeen at 443-655-3074. This is a great way to exercise while walking for a good cause. Help feed the hungry!

A pit beef lunch and yard sale will be held at Dublin United Methodist Church Saturday, Oct. 26 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Clean out your closets and set up a table. For further information call the church at 410-457-8003.
